Settlers Execute 200 Olive Trees in Turmus'ayya North of Ramallah
SadaNews - Settlers uprooted 200 olive trees in the town of Turmus'ayya, north of Ramallah City, today, Wednesday.
Local sources reported that settlers infiltrated the plain area of the town and uprooted 200 olive trees.
The assaults by settlers last year resulted in the martyrdom of 14 citizens and also caused 434 fires to ignite in the properties and fields of the citizens, concentrated in the Ramallah governorate with 181 fires, followed by Nablus with 79 fires, then Hebron with 42 fires, and Tulkarem with 26 fires. This is in addition to 892 assault operations that led to the uprooting, damaging, vandalizing, and poisoning of a total of 35,273 trees, including 26,988 olive trees, with the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, and Salfit bearing the brunt of the impact.
