Second day of aggression.. Occupation notifies of the demolition of commercial shops around Qalandia camp (Video)
SadaNews - This morning, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of commercial shops around the Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed Airport Street in the vicinity of Qalandia camp and notified several commercial shops of demolition, demanding their owners to evacuate them.
For the second consecutive day, the occupation army is launching a wide military aggression north of occupied Jerusalem, which included the storming of Kafr Aqab town and the area around Qalandia camp, under the pretext of enhancing control over the extension of the separation wall and the racist expansion, as they began demolishing Palestinian facilities.
This aggression falls within a systematic policy to tighten colonial control over the surroundings of Jerusalem, amid claims that official Israeli reports recently acknowledged significant gaps in the path of the wall, especially around the city, which the occupation exploits as a pretext to intensify its military and punitive measures against citizens.
The Jerusalem governorate confirmed that the demolition works carried out by the occupation forces on Airport Street near Qalandia camp are being executed on plot number (1) adjacent to the Qalandia Training Institute affiliated with UNRWA, and this land is officially registered in the land registry under the name "Airport Lands - Treasury of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."
