The commission added that on the first day of the on-ground registration process, which launched yesterday, Tuesday, (15,352) new citizens were registered in the voter registry, while (2,196) citizens transferred their polling places, and (51,293) citizens inquired about their polling centers through the commission's website.
The commission pointed out that the electronic and field registration processes are still ongoing, urging non-registered citizens, or those wishing to modify or transfer their data, to hurry up and do so via the commission's website or through the registration centers spread across all local authorities in the West Bank and the offices of electoral circles, until 2 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
The commission noted that it is receiving citizens' inquiries via social media, through the website, or through the commission's phone numbers.
