SadaNews - Gold prices were recorded today, Sunday, near $4,595 per ounce.
The yellow metal has built on this momentum since the beginning of 2026, with many traders showing confidence in its long-term appeal.
"Citigroup" has raised its near-term forecasts to estimate the price reaching $5,000 per ounce and silver reaching $100 per ounce in the next three months, amid rising geopolitical risks, physical supply shortages, and renewed uncertainty regarding the independence of the Federal Reserve.
Gold fell in spot trading by 0.2% to $4,585.35 per ounce by 9:04 AM Singapore time. The Bloomberg Dollar Index remained stable. Silver dropped by 1.4% after jumping more than 6% on Monday.
