U.S. Ambassador in Israel: The Plan to Displace Palestinians from Gaza Remains in Place
SadaNews - The United States Ambassador in Tel Aviv, Mike Huckabee, stated in a lengthy interview with the Israeli newspaper "Makor Rishon" that the plan to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is still in place, saying: "I don't believe it's off the table. If people want to leave, they will have the opportunity, and this depends on the countries willing to receive them."
Regarding the ceasefire and reconstruction in Gaza, Huckabee clarified that the White House envoy, Steve Witkoff, announced the second phase of the ceasefire, including a commitment to resolve the issue of armed Hamas and to return the last Israeli body in Gaza.
He added: "I cannot say how that will be implemented, but President Trump made it clear that Hamas must fulfill its obligations. And if people want to leave Gaza, they will have the opportunity, and this depends on the countries willing to receive them."
