Iranian Parliament Speaker: Any American Attack Will Be Met with a Response Against Israel and U.S. Bases
SadaNews - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that any American military aggression against his country would be considered a declaration of war, emphasizing that Tehran will respond by targeting Israel and U.S. bases in the region as legitimate targets. He added that Iran's position is clear and firm in facing what he described as American escalation.
The Iranian official explained that the American president has officially declared support for what he called the "terrorist war" against Iran, affirming that his country will confront this war and work to thwart it by all available means. He pointed out that Iran will not allow threats to its national security or the exploitation of internal circumstances to weaken it.
In this context, the Parliament Speaker stressed that those who attempt to turn popular protests into acts of sabotage and riots or terrorist activities are trying to prevent the true voice of the protesting people from being heard. He asserted that these practices do not serve the popular demands but are exploited by enemies to ignite chaos.
He also announced that internal security forces will confront with strength and decisiveness what he described as the terrorist war being waged against Iran from within, indicating that the enemy has exploited the legitimate demands of the people to launch an unconventional war targeting the stability and security of the country.
