UNRWA: Children in Gaza Are Living in Miserable Conditions
SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed that children in the Gaza Strip are still living in miserable conditions, amidst the restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces on the entry of humanitarian aid.
The UN agency stated in a post on its official account on social media platform "X" on Saturday that "children in the Gaza Strip should feel warmth, proper nutrition, and sufficient safety to look forward to their future," pointing out their "urgent need" for humanitarian aid that is stranded outside Gaza due to restrictions imposed by the occupation.
UNRWA stated that, like other relief organizations, it "continues its work and is ready to scale up its assistance," emphasizing the necessity of "immediately lifting all restrictions imposed on aid."
