The Occupation Destroys Two Houses in the Upper Cooperation Area of Nablus
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces began today, Thursday, to demolish two houses in the Upper Cooperation area of Nablus.
Security sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by three military bulldozers, stormed the Upper Cooperation area and commenced the demolition of two houses belonging to citizens Ashraf Khattab and Laith Nabil Al-Abed.
They added that the occupation forces had issued an order to evacuate the houses on the twelfth of last December.
Notably, the occupation forces had forced six families, in the middle of last month, to evacuate their houses on Upper Cooperation Street in Nablus in preparation for their demolition.
Al-Abed confirmed in a previous statement to the official agency that the houses have been marked for demolition since 2021, in addition to ten other houses, all of which house between 2-4 families. He emphasized that according to the maps obtained by the families, all the houses are located in area classified as "B", while the occupation claims they are in an area classified as "C".
It is worth mentioning that the occupation forces have notified several houses in the same area about demolition under the pretext of construction in areas classified as "C".
