Weather: Slight Rise in Temperatures
SadaNews - The meteorological department forecasted that today, Wednesday, the weather will be partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold, especially in the mountainous areas, while remaining moderate in other regions. There will be a slight increase in temperatures, which will be around 3-4 degrees Celsius higher than the general average, with winds coming from the southeast to the east, light to moderate in speed, and the sea will have slight wave heights.
In the evening and at night: The weather will be partially cloudy and cold, with winds from the east to southeast, light to moderate in speed, and the sea will have slight wave heights.
Thursday: The weather will be partially cloudy and relatively cold, especially in the mountainous areas, and moderate in the rest of the regions, with another slight increase in temperatures. Winds will come from the southeast to southwest, light to moderate in speed, and the sea will have slight wave heights.
Friday: The country will be affected by a low air pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass. Therefore, the weather will be partially cloudy to cloudy, with a noticeable decrease in temperatures, making it cold to very cold and windy. Intermittent rain showers are expected over most areas, intensifying starting from the afternoon, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be from the west to northwest, active with occasional strong gusts reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h, and the sea will be turbulent.
Saturday: The country will continue to be affected by the low air pressure system, so the weather will be cloudy, cold to very cold. Intermittent rain showers are expected over most areas, often accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. The likelihood of precipitation will decrease during the evening and night hours. Winds will be from the northwest, active with occasional strong gusts reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h, and the sea will be turbulent.
The meteorological observatory warned during the days the country is affected by the low air pressure system on Friday and Saturday of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas due to heavy rainfall, strong wind speeds, slipping on roads, reduced horizontal visibility, and rising sea levels, especially as the low air pressure system deepens - from Friday afternoon until Saturday morning - where the wave heights may reach 8 meters at times.
