Israeli Army: Imposing Penalties on Officers and Soldiers Who Damaged Palestinian Property Near Ramallah

According to a statement from the Israeli army, as translated by SadaNews, a military force from the Paratroopers Brigade entered the village last Saturday, acted contrary to protocols and without permission, and damaged Palestinian vehicles in a manner that exceeded procedures and orders.
It was noted that an investigation was conducted into the incident to examine the actions of the soldiers and their units, and during the investigation, additional violations were discovered that were addressed as well.
It was pointed out that all involved soldiers were summoned to their commanders, tried, and sentenced to imprisonment with a decision made not to return them to operations and combat.
The preliminary investigation on the matter was presented to the Israeli Chief of Staff, who determined that the incident was serious and contradicted the values of the Israeli army, and instructed for an in-depth investigation to be conducted with results to be presented later.
