SadaNews - Settlers attacked a Bedouin gathering in the village of Mukmas northeast of occupied Jerusalem early this Tuesday morning, assaulting citizens and property.
The Jerusalem governorate reported that more than 20 settlers stormed the Khillat al-Sidra Bedouin gathering and assaulted citizens using clubs, stones, pepper spray, and iron pipes, resulting in several injuries and varying bruises among them.
It added that a number of citizens' homes were damaged due to being pelted with stones and the use of pepper spray inside them, in addition to the destruction of a car belonging to one of the activists present in the area, as part of ongoing attempts to intimidate and systematically assault Bedouin communities.
During the assault, settlers also destroyed solar panels belonging to citizens, targeting electricity sources and the basic infrastructure of the gathering, in the context of ongoing assaults aimed at tightening the noose around the residents and forcibly driving them away from their lands.
