Unprecedented Large-Scale Evacuation of Homes in Nablus to Secure Settler Invasion of Joseph's Tomb
SadaNews - The city of Nablus, specifically in Balata al-Balad and Oman Street in the eastern region, witnessed a large-scale and unprecedented evacuation operation carried out by Israeli occupation forces early this morning. Dozens of families were forced to leave their homes by force during the invasion of the area surrounding Joseph's Tomb east of the city.
The evacuation operations included patients, the elderly, and children, who were compelled to leave in severely cold conditions, while being prevented from using their cars and forced to walk long distances on the streets.
Local sources reported that these measures were taken to secure the incursion of groups of settlers into Joseph’s Tomb, under heavy protection from occupation forces that were heavily deployed in the eastern area of Nablus, causing panic and suffering among the residents who found themselves outside their homes in harsh conditions.
After hours of tension and invasion, the occupation army and the settlers withdrew from the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb, allowing the families that were forced to evacuate to return to their homes, amidst poignant scenes that reflected the magnitude of suffering experienced by the residents during this operation.
