The Death Toll in the Gaza Strip Rises to 71,266 Since the Start of the Aggression
SadaNews - The toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,266 martyrs and 171,222 wounded since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today, Monday, that one martyr was retrieved and three injuries were reported in the Gaza Strip's hospitals over the past 48 hours, while many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them.
The ministry stated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 414, and the total number of injuries is 1,145, with 680 bodies having been retrieved.
It noted the death of a citizen due to a building collapse, raising the number of victims that reached the hospitals as a result of building collapses due to the weather system to 17 cases, and also the death of a child due to severe cold, raising the death toll from cold and the weather system to 3.
