Israeli Security Agency on Palestinian Security's Response to Settlers in Salfit: "Unacceptable to Us"
SadaNews translation - The Israeli army radio said: "An unusual incident occurred yesterday near the Ariel settlement: about 20 Israelis entered area (A) to roam around and reached the entrance to Salfit. The Palestinian security forces pushed them away, brandishing their weapons in the air. Some of the Israelis were also armed, but there was no friction between the two sides, and the Israelis withdrew from the site."
It added, according to SadaNews translation, "The Israeli security agency sent a message to the Palestinian security forces stating: 'The way you expelled the Israelis from the site, while directing weapons at them, is unacceptable to us.' Following the incident, new procedures will be put in place to deal with such cases."
