SadaNews - The Occupation Municipality in Jerusalem announced the approval of a budget estimated at around 10 million shekels for the implementation of a new tunnel project in the Wadi al-Daraj area, south of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the project aims to connect the "Har Homa" settlement established on the lands of Jabal Abu Ghneim to the Begin bypass road near Beit Safafa.
The project is located in Wadi al-Daraj, which separates a number of Palestinian villages south of Jerusalem, most notably Sur Baher and Um Tuba.
