On Monday, an Israeli drone struck a car on the Aqhtanit road in the Zahrani area of Sidon, resulting in the deaths of three martyrs, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

A drone also dropped a sonic bomb on the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shab in the Bent Jbeil district, while the Israeli army fired machine guns from its position in al-Malkiya towards the outskirts of the town of Aytrun, as part of a series of assaults on areas in southern Lebanon.

Israel Warns Against Any Cooperation Between the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah

The spokesperson for the Israeli army announced on Tuesday that its forces continued precise targeting operations in southern Lebanon, hitting three armed individuals, including a member who concurrently served in the intelligence unit of the Lebanese army and another member in the air defense unit in the Sidon area, according to his claims.

The spokesperson clarified in a statement that the airstrike carried out by the Israeli army on Monday resulted in the elimination of Hezbollah members who were planning attacks against Israeli army forces and were seeking to reconstruct military infrastructure in the Sidon area of southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army indicated that preliminary investigations confirm the targeting of a Hezbollah member who concurrently worked in the intelligence unit of the Lebanese army and another member in Hezbollah's air defense unit in Sidon.

The spokesperson emphasized that the Israeli army views any cooperation between the Lebanese army and Hezbollah with extreme seriousness, stressing that Israel will continue to act to eliminate any threat to its citizens, considering attempts to reconstruct Hezbollah's infrastructure a serious violation of the understandings between Lebanon and Israel.
