"Fatah Youth": The Dignity of Prisoners and Martyrs is a National Responsibility That Cannot Be Compromised.
SadaNews - The Fatah Youth Movement stated that the dignity of prisoners and martyrs is a national responsibility that cannot be compromised, and that dealing with their issue in a social context diminishes their struggle status.
It called in a statement to adopt a mechanism that preserves dignity and rejects "social scrutiny", and demands an urgent national session to address the issue and protect the rights of the fighters.
It stated, "We will not forgive nor will we forget anyone who undermines national dignity or seeks to criminalize national struggle."

For its part, the Jenin Fatah Youth indicated that what is happening to the families of martyrs, the wounded, and prisoners is not a passing administrative procedure, but a direct infringement on the national contract and on the commitment to the sacrifices of those who faced the occupation with their bare chests, and those who are still behind bars paying their lives for the freedom of this people.
It added in its statement, "Enough submission, enough silence, enough muteness; silence over the infringement of the rights of prisoners, the wounded, and martyrs is complicity in the moral crime regardless of intentions or justifications."
It called upon all Palestinian factions and forces to assume their historical responsibility and to call for a wide popular movement in defense of the dignity of this group that constitutes the backbone of the Palestinian struggle.
