United Nations: We firmly reject and oppose any change in Gaza's borders
SadaNews - The United Nations announced its categorical rejection of statements made by an Israeli official who claimed that "the yellow line in Gaza represents the new border," emphasizing its total opposition to any change in the borders of Gaza and Israel.
UN Secretary-General spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, stated in yesterday's daily press conference on Tuesday evening, in response to a question regarding the statements of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, "Eyal Zamir," concerning the yellow line in Gaza: "We unequivocally oppose any change in the borders of Gaza and Israel."
Dujarric noted that this statement contradicts the spirit and text of the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, explaining that when the United Nations speaks about Gaza, it references the existing borders between Gaza and Israel, not the yellow line.
Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation "Eyal Zamir" claimed that "the yellow line represents the new borders of the Gaza Strip," asserting in a statement that it constitutes a "forward defense line for the settlements and an attack line."
The yellow line is the line to which the occupation army withdrew as part of the implementation of the first phase of President Trump's plan to end the war on Gaza.
