Civil Defense Warns Citizens of a Low Pressure System Lasting 3 Days
SadaNews - The Palestinian Civil Defense has warned citizens, based on meteorological data, that the country will be affected by a low pressure system starting from Wednesday afternoon and lasting for three days, with heavy rains and strong winds expected.
The Civil Defense urges citizens to take all necessary precautions and adhere to the following guidelines:
■ Check the rooftops of houses and drainage systems.
■ Avoid riverbeds and flash floods, and reinforce low areas around homes and facilities.
■ Secure movable objects on rooftops and balconies, as well as signboards, due to the risk of high winds.
■ Drivers should exercise extreme caution according to road conditions, avoid driving through water pooling, and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
■ Check heating appliances before use, and ensure proper ventilation in the area.
