Israeli Occupation Army and Shabak Claim: Thwarting Armed Infrastructure in Tulkarm

SadaNews: The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army and the General Security Service (Shabak) announced in a joint statement that an infrastructure was uncovered in the city of Tulkarm, which they said was prepared to carry out attacks against the occupation army forces and other targets.

According to the statement, the uncovering came after a prolonged intelligence investigation involving Shabak, the Israeli army, and the occupation police, which resulted in the arrest of several individuals described as involved in operations over the past few months.

The statement claimed that one of the detainees confessed during interrogation to his participation in attaching an explosive device to a military vehicle last September, which led to the injury of several soldiers, in addition to his attempt to carry out another attack in a similar manner. It also clarified that Abu Samrah participated in an explosion targeting a military jeep in December, during which the former commander of the Menashe Brigade was injured.

The statement added that investigations revealed another detainee, a resident of Tulkarm, was involved in preparing attacks with explosive devices and providing the cell members with components and means for manufacturing.

The statement claimed that forces from the "Efraim" Brigade conducted a field operation on November 17, 2025, inside the city of Tulkarm, where they found three rockets in various stages of preparation, in addition to explosive devices, triggering systems, and parts for manufacturing explosives. It confirmed that one of the rockets was equipped with a warhead and highly explosive materials.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that the results of the investigation indicate "the level of threat prevailing in the region," and that proactive operations will continue deep within Palestinian camps, while investigations remain ongoing.
