President Abbas congratulates Syrian President on the first anniversary of Liberation Day

SadaNews - President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas congratulated his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al-Shara on the first anniversary of the Liberation Day of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.

President Abbas stated in his congratulatory message: "We are pleased to extend, on behalf of the State and people of Palestine and on my own behalf, our warmest fraternal congratulations to Your Excellency and through you to the brotherly Syrian people on the occasion of commemorating the first anniversary of the liberation of the Syrian Arab Republic."

He added: "We ask God Almighty to bring this national occasion back to you while you enjoy good health and success, and to Syria, its government, and its people, further progress, stability, and prosperity."
