Israeli Chief of Staff from Gaza: We Will Not Allow Hamas to Reestablish Its Strength
SadaNews - Today, Sunday, Israeli Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, conducted an assessment of the situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that the occupation army will not allow Hamas to reestablish its presence and strength.
This came according to a statement issued by the Israeli army this evening, noting that Zamir had "conducted a tour and assessment of the situation in the Gaza Strip with Southern Command Chief Yaniv Asor, 252nd Division Commander Yehuda Vakh... and other commanders".
The statement mentioned that "the Chief of Staff toured Beit Hanoun and Jabalia, and held discussions with division commanders who briefed him on the activities of the divisions and their operational activities".
Zamir stated that the yellow line in Gaza is the new border line for defense and attack, adding that our next goal after recovering the remains of the last hostage is the disarmament of Gaza and Hamas.
