In Anticipation of an American Visit... Netanyahu Orders Evacuation of Settlements and Arrest of Settlers
SadaNews - The Israeli Channel 12 reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the evacuation of 14 settlement outposts in the West Bank, classified as sources of Jewish terrorism and national crime, in anticipation of a visit from the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Michael Waldman.
The Israeli channel indicated that Israeli security forces are preparing to deal with the settlement outposts and the rioters residing in them, which are considered launching points for attacks on Palestinians and their properties.
The channel pointed out that, during a discussion held by Netanyahu, a decision was made to arrest the primary perpetrators of violence and evacuate them, estimated to number around 70 settlers. They have relocated to farms and settlement outposts.
Israeli settlers executed a series of attacks on Palestinian gatherings in various areas of the occupied West Bank on Saturday, coinciding with incursions by the occupying army and injuries among civilians in Jericho, Nablus, and Hebron.
The "Baidar" human rights organization stated that settlers released their livestock on Palestinian lands east of Sa'ir village north of Hebron, leading to the destruction of agricultural areas relied upon by residents for agricultural seasons and grazing.
In the Masafar Yatta area south of Hebron, settlers obstructed farmers from plowing their lands in Wadi Ma'in and seized seeds intended for the current season.
