Hebron: Two Martyrs Shot by Occupation Forces Claiming Attempt to Carry Out Car Ramming
SadaNews - Two Palestinians were martyred on Saturday evening by Israeli occupation forces after they shot at a vehicle in the "Bab al-Zawiya" area of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli army claimed that the martyrs "sped towards the paratroopers who were conducting operational activities at the 'Shoter' checkpoint, and the forces fired at the 'perpetrators' and killed them."
Journalistic sources reported that the occupation forces deployed in the center of the city fired live ammunition towards a vehicle carrying citizens in the Bab al-Zawiya area and prevented Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances from reaching it.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the occupation forces prevented its teams from reaching the vehicle that was fired upon.
Additionally, two Palestinians were injured by gunfire from the occupation forces on Saturday evening in the town of Al-Ram northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
The Red Crescent stated that its teams dealt with two injuries from live ammunition in the lower limbs of citizens, one aged 47 and the other 27, near the separation and expansion wall built on the lands of Al-Ram, and they were transferred to the hospital.
Earlier on Saturday evening, the Red Crescent teams dealt with the injury of two young men from Salfit province due to live ammunition near the wall in the town of Al-Ram, and they were taken to the hospital.
Occupation forces stormed the towns of Qabatiya and Silat al-Harithiya in Jenin province on Saturday evening.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed Qabatiya amid live fire and deployed their snipers on the roofs of several houses, adding that the soldiers raided a bakery without any arrests being reported.
In the town of Silat al-Harithiya, the occupation forces raided several homes and searched them, with no arrests reported.
Clashes erupted between youths and occupation forces on Saturday evening in the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah.
Journalistic sources stated that the clashes broke out after the occupation forces stormed the town, as the soldiers fired sound bombs and toxic tear gas, with no injuries reported.
