A Young Man Martyrdom Due to Occupation Fire in Nablus
SadaNews - A young man was martyred on Friday, as a result of being shot by occupation forces south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to the Ministry of Health, the young man, Baha Abdel-Rahman Rashed (38 years old), was martyred by the bullets of the occupation forces in the town of Awda south of Nablus.
Medical teams from the Red Crescent confirmed that the young man was injured by a bullet to the head, which resulted in extremely serious injuries.
The medical teams attempted to revive the young man before he breathed his last at the Beta Health Emergency Center.
According to local sources, the occupation forces stormed the center of the village and the vicinity of the old mosque in Awda, during which live ammunition and tear gas canisters were fired in conjunction with the exit of worshipers from the mosque, leading to clashes and injuring a young man with a live bullet to the head, who was later declared a martyr.
