The occupation sentences a life term and a hefty fine to the perpetrator of a ramming attack near Ramallah
SadaNews - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that the military court of the occupation in "Ofer" camp issued a life sentence against prisoner Haile Issa Abdul Jabbar Dahi Allah (59 years old) from the town of Rafat south of Ramallah, in addition to imposing a financial "compensation" of one and a half million shekels during a session held yesterday, Wednesday. The prisoner was represented during the session by lawyer from the Commission of Detainees Affairs, Akram Samara.
Dahi Allah was arrested after being shot by the occupation army following his execution of a ramming attack with a gas tanker near the settlement of Givat Asaf east of Ramallah on September 11, which resulted in the death of an Israeli soldier.
As part of collective punishment and revenge policies, the occupation authorities demolished his family home in March 2025.
The Commission of Detainees and the Prisoners Club pointed out that this ruling raises the number of prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment in Israeli occupation prisons to 115 prisoners.
