Netanyahu's Office: The Recovered Remains from Gaza Do Not Belong to the Hostages
SadaNews - On Wednesday, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the recovered remains from Gaza do not belong to either of the two remaining hostages in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement from Netanyahu's office: "After completing the identification process at the national forensic laboratory, it has been determined that the remains brought yesterday for examination from Gaza are not linked to any of the deceased hostages."
The Israeli police announced on Tuesday that they had received the remains of one of the two remaining hostages in the Gaza Strip before transferring them to a forensic institute near Tel Aviv for identification.
Under the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, Hamas promised to return all 48 hostages, including 20 who are alive. Remains of two hostages remain in the strip out of 28.
