Israeli Occupation Withdraws from Tubas and Aqaba After Two Days of Aggression and Siege
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces withdrew last night from the city of Tubas and the town of Aqaba after two days of aggression and siege.
The Tubas governorate announced the resumption of work for government and private institutions and schools, and the removal of dirt barriers from the entrances to the city.
During the past two days, the occupation forces had turned several homes into military barracks after forcing their residents to leave in both Tubas and Aqaba.
The occupation forces also carried out a large-scale raid on citizens’ homes, detaining several individuals and subjecting them to field interrogations, while occupation warplanes sporadically fired in the skies of Tubas governorate.
Occupation vehicles and infantry forces were heavily deployed in the neighborhoods of Tubas city and Aqaba town throughout the incursion, coinciding with a curfew and the closing of entrances with dirt barriers.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces had re-entered the city of Tubas and the town of Aqaba early Monday morning, a day after withdrawing following four continuous days of aggression from Wednesday morning until Saturday evening.
