Demonstration in New York Rallies in Support of Gaza and Demands a Ban on Arms to Israel
SadaNews - Hundreds of protesters gathered in Columbus Circle in Manhattan, New York, to mark "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People."
The protesters raised Palestinian flags and banners calling for an end to Israeli bombings in Gaza and an immediate arms embargo from the United States on Israel, considering that the ongoing flow of weapons fuels a "continuing genocide."
The demonstrators also demanded divestment from companies linked to the war against Palestinians and an end to financial and military support provided to Israel, in an attempt to pressure the U.S. government to protect civilians in Gaza.
