Injuries from Suffocation as Occupation Prevents Citizens from Reaching Their Lands West of Hebron
SadaNews - A number of citizens suffered from suffocation today, Friday, due to the Israeli occupation army firing sound bombs and toxic gas canisters towards citizens attempting to access their agricultural lands in Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces and armed settlers stormed citizens' lands, preventing farmers from reaching them, and fired sound bombs and toxic gas at them, causing dozens to suffer from suffocation due to inhaling the gas, who received field treatment.
Additionally, the occupation forces suppressed a sit-in organized by land and house owners in Marah Abu Riya and Shab Abu Sakur in the town of Tarqumiyah, forcibly expelling the citizens and foreign activists from the area.
