Fateh: The execution of the two young men in Jenin by the occupation is direct murder outside the law
SadaNews - The Chairman of the Palestinian National Council, Rouhi Fattouh, stated that the crime of executing the two young men in Jenin, after they surrendered unarmed, is part of a clear approach practiced by the occupation army that is based on direct murder outside the law.
Fattouh added that the occupation army has committed hundreds of cases of field executions, assassinations, and cold-blooded killings in the occupied Palestinian territories without accountability, exceeding the formal investigations that do not lead to any punitive actions.
He pointed to the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by the occupation army under orders from its military and political leadership, which have victimized tens of thousands of innocents, emphasizing that these policies have become a systematic approach that cannot be justified by any pretext.
Fattouh called on the international community to bear its responsibilities regarding these serious violations and to bring to trial anyone proven to have committed crimes against the Palestinian people before the International Criminal Court, urging immediate action to stop the continuous crimes against the Palestinian people.
In the same context, the council's president praised the joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany regarding the recent developments in the occupied West Bank, valuing their clear stance in condemning the illegal settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, condemning the crimes of settlers and the escalation of their assaults against Palestinian civilians, as well as their rejection of the confiscation of clearance funds by the occupation authorities.
