B'Tselem Center: Israel Killed 1,003 Palestinians in the West Bank Since October
SadaNews: The Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem has released a new report revealing that the Israeli army has killed 1,003 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 2023. The center confirmed that the army has adopted a "lenient and unrestricted" shooting policy, leading to an unprecedented increase in the number of casualties.
The report pointed out that the Israeli army has armed and gathered thousands of settlers within West Bank settlements, contributing to the escalation of daily attacks against Palestinians.
According to B'Tselem, these attacks occur in a context of complete impunity, as Israeli law enforcement authorities rarely open investigations despite most offenses being documented.
The center warns that these systematic policies contribute to entrenching a reality of ongoing violence against Palestinians, amid a lack of any legal accountability or accountability for those responsible for the violations.
