The Security Council discusses the Palestinian issue today
SadaNews - The United Nations Security Council held an open monthly briefing today, Monday, on "the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue."
The briefing is expected to be presented by the Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Ramiz Alakbarov.
As usual, the Security Council will hold closed consultations after the open briefing to discuss the contents of the briefing and the next steps that the council can take or recommend.
