This came during statements he made last night on the sidelines of the G20 summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Macron added that the situation in Gaza is still "extremely difficult".
In this context, Macron noted that France and Saudi Arabia are the guarantors of the "New York Declaration" agenda regarding the two-state solution for the Palestinian issue.
