SadaNews - French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the situation in Gaza remains extremely difficult, calling for the sustained and continuous implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and adherence to commitments.

This came during statements he made last night on the sidelines of the G20 summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Macron added that the situation in Gaza is still "extremely difficult".

In this context, Macron noted that France and Saudi Arabia are the guarantors of the "New York Declaration" agenda regarding the two-state solution for the Palestinian issue.
