Gaza: 342 Martyrs Due to 497 Israeli Violations Since the Ceasefire Began
SadaNews - Israel has committed 497 violations since the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect on October 11, 2025, including 27 violations on Saturday that resulted in 24 martyrs and 87 injuries.
The Government Media Office in the Strip condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing serious and systematic violations by the occupying authorities of the ceasefire decision, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the humanitarian protocol annexed to the agreement.
It noted that "these continuous violations have resulted in 342 martyrs among civilians, the majority of whom are children, women, and the elderly, in addition to 875 injured with varying degrees of injuries, as well as 35 citizens who have been arbitrarily detained during incursions and raids, confirming the occupation's insistence on undermining the agreement and creating a bloody reality on the ground that threatens security and stability in the Strip."
The Government Media Office mentioned that "Israeli occupation assaults varied between 142 direct gunfire incidents targeting citizens, homes, residential neighborhoods, and camps for the displaced, 21 incursions carried out by the occupation forces into residential and agricultural areas that exceeded the temporary yellow line, and 228 bombings and targeting via ground, aerial, and artillery attacks, along with 100 demolition operations of homes and civilian facilities, in a systematic crime aimed at expanding destruction and collectively punishing the population, constituting a severe breach of the provisions of the Geneva Conventions."
The office strongly condemned these violations that the Israeli occupation continues to commit against civilians and facilities, in clear defiance of all legal and moral obligations, holding the occupation fully responsible for all humanitarian and security repercussions resulting from these violations, and emphasizing that "its continuing in this aggressive approach will fail any international efforts to maintain the ceasefire."
The Gaza Government Media Office called on U.S. President Donald Trump, the mediating countries, the guarantor parties of the agreement, and the United Nations Security Council, to take serious and effective action to stop these assaults, to rein in the occupation, and to compel it to adhere strictly to the terms of the ceasefire agreement and the humanitarian protocol, ensuring the protection of civilians and putting an end to the escalating violations, according to its statement.
It concluded its statement by saying, "The crime of the continued occupation in these grave violations threatens opportunities for stability, and confirms to the world that international pressure alone is sufficient to compel the occupation to respect international law and the decisions of international legitimacy."
