Lebanon: Two Martyrs in Targeting of Two Vehicles and Israeli Airstrikes in Baalbek and the South
SadaNews - Two individuals were martyred on Saturday when two vehicles were targeted, one in the town of Shakra and the other on the eastern Zoutar road in southern Lebanon, while Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting several towns and areas in Baalbek and the south.
The Israeli army stated that it attacked rocket launch platforms and military sites, including weapons depots and other military buildings in Baalbek and southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency reported on Saturday morning that young man Kamal Rida Qarnbish from the town of Zoutar al-Sharqi was martyred due to an Israeli drone strike.
On Saturday morning, the agency also reported that an Israeli warplane conducted an airstrike targeting a vehicle with two missiles in the Ain al-Suhmariyeh area on the eastern Zoutar road, southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the Israeli airstrikes and violations since November 28, 2024, following the signing of a ceasefire agreement until November 20 of this year, have resulted in 331 martyrs and 945 injuries.
