The Israeli Army Acknowledges Kidnapping Dr. Marwan Al-Hams in Gaza

The Israeli army stated in a statement that it carried out the operation in cooperation with the Shin Bet and "Aman" to abduct Al-Hams.

It claimed that Al-Hams was one of those who examined the body of officer Hadar Goldin and knew the location of his burial.

It noted that the operation was part of dozens of secret operations carried out during the past six months and joined a wide-ranging effort by its forces to recover Goldin.
