Israeli Environment Minister Imposes Fine on Palestinian Authority
Translation by SadaNews - Hebrew Channel 12 reported this evening, Thursday, that Israeli Environment Minister Idit Silman has imposed a financial penalty of 40 million shekels on the Palestinian Authority under the pretext of environmental and air pollution caused by illegal waste dumps in the West Bank.
According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, Silman recommended improvements to the Palestinian waste dumps located in Areas A and B.
This comes as part of Israel's financial pressure on the Palestinian Authority and the reduction of tax money that it is already withholding completely.
