33 Martyrs in Gaza in the Last 24 Hours.. France and Qatar Condemn
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Thursday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,546, the majority of whom are children and women, since the Israeli occupation's aggression began on October 7, 2023.
It clarified that the number of injuries has increased to 170,833 since the onset of the aggression, while several victims remain under the rubble, and rescue teams are trying to reach them.
It indicated that 33 martyrs, including 32 new martyrs (12 children and 8 women), and 88 injuries have arrived at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the toll of martyrs and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has reached 312 martyrs and 760 injured, and 572 bodies have been retrieved.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot condemned Israel's violation of the ceasefire in Gaza, affirming his country's stance on the necessity of respecting the truce and protecting civilians.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "We emphasize the necessity of regional and international efforts to maintain and commit to the ceasefire agreement in Gaza."
It continued: "Qatar strongly condemns the brutal assaults of the Israeli occupation in Gaza."
It added: "The brutal assaults of the occupation in the Gaza Strip represent a dangerous escalation that threatens to undermine the ceasefire agreement."
It emphasized that commitment to the ceasefire agreement paves the way for ending the war on Gaza and achieving just and sustainable peace in the region.
