Germany to Lift Arms Ban on Israel Next Week
SadaNews - German Chancellor announced that the German government will lift the arms ban on Israel next week, following the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The decision will come into effect on Monday, November 24.
This decision comes after extensive consultations within the German government, as Berlin believed that the security and political conditions in the region have changed following the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian factions in Gaza.
Germany had temporarily imposed an arms ban in August 2025 due to the Gaza war, fearing that German weapons would be used in Israeli military operations there.
