Transmitted Through Intermediaries: List of Prisoners from Gaza in Occupation Jails

SadaNews - Hamas stated that as part of the ceasefire agreement and the exchange deal, and based on the communication that took place through intermediaries and lasted for more than a month, the Palestinian resistance received a list of 1,468 names of prisoners from the Gaza Strip. The list was followed up and reviewed with the relevant authorities for verification, and the status of all names was confirmed except for 11, for whom investigations are ongoing.

It added: We affirm that several obstacles prevented the official announcement of the list during the past period due to the occupation's delaying tactics, procrastination, and manipulation regarding some names. Thanks to the significant efforts made to verify the list, the Prisoners Media Office decided to announce the list through its official platforms.

It continued: We affirm that the Zionist occupation bears full responsibility for the lives of all prisoners and detainees, and for any manipulation or discrepancies in the list. We also confirm that the occupation is still forcibly hiding other names and numbers of prisoners in its jails and detention centers and refuses to disclose them to this day. Nevertheless, we maintain that efforts continue around the clock to uncover their fate.

The movement added: We call on the intermediaries to exert pressure on the occupation to disclose all prisoners and detainees, to ensure their health and humanitarian rights, and to stop the serious violations contrary to international laws and norms that the occupation commits against them.
