A Worker Injured by Israeli Occupation Fire in Al-Ram Town
SadaNews - A worker was injured today, Sunday, by Israeli occupation fire in Al-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Red Crescent Society reported that its teams in Ramallah dealt with the injury of a 26-year-old worker from live ammunition near the wall, and transported him to the hospital.
Since the beginning of this year, 15 workers have been martyred by the fire of Israeli occupation forces, whether during pursuit within the 1948 territories, or by falling from the separation and expansion wall, according to the General Union of Palestinian Workers' data.
In recent months, hundreds of workers have faced arrest and mistreatment by the Israeli police, under the pretext of lacking permits.
Since October 2023, the union documented the martyrdom of 42 workers, and more than 32,000 cases of arrest among workers.
