UNRWA: Rain Increases the Difficulty of Conditions in Gaza and Families Resort to Any Available Shelters
SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the rain is increasing the difficulty of the situation in the Gaza Strip, and families are resorting to any available places, including temporary tents.
The agency added in a statement today, Saturday: "There is an urgent need for shelter supplies in Gaza, which we have available, and we call for permission to provide them to the population."
The agency warned that the current low-pressure system affecting the Gaza Strip will have catastrophic consequences for the displaced in the region.
UNRWA noted that there are international efforts to pressure Israel to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
