Tents in Gaza Flooded by Rain Amid Ongoing Israeli Violations
SadaNews - Hundreds of tents for Palestinian displaced persons in the Gaza Strip were flooded from night until Saturday morning due to continuous heavy rain throughout the night and morning.
Civil Defense teams headed to several areas in the city of Gaza where public squares contain hundreds of tents, as well as to other areas in the middle of the strip and the Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The Civil Defense Agency in Gaza reported that residents' belongings were completely submerged in harsh and difficult conditions.
The agency confirmed that residents need more than 450,000 high-quality tents in order to cope with the harsh and difficult circumstances.
This comes amid ongoing Israeli violations, including airstrikes and demolitions behind the yellow line in eastern Khan Younis and the city of Gaza.
