Hebrew Channel: Advanced Negotiations for Hamas Members to Exit Tunnels in Rafah to Turkey
SadaNews Translation - Channel 13 reported this evening, Wednesday, that advanced negotiations are currently underway to allow Hamas members to exit the tunnels and be relocated to Turkey, from where they will be distributed to several countries.
The channel quoted a senior Israeli official as saying, as translated by SadaNews, that if the Americans pressure, Israel is likely to allow this step, adding: "Israel will be lenient, and nothing can be done, these are the rules of the game."
The channel states that behind the Israeli desire to approve the exit of these militants, in exchange for a formal surrender, is the aim of progressing to the second phase of the Trump agreement, namely starting the reconstruction of the sector and disarming Gaza.
The United States is strongly pressuring Israel to allow a safe exit for those elements.
