Opening of the 'Zikim' Crossing for Aid Entry into Gaza Under International Supervision
SadaNews - The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Israeli Occupation announced that, with approval from the political level, the 'Zikim' crossing was opened today, Wednesday, for the entry of humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip.
He explained that the aid will be transported through the United Nations and international organizations, after undergoing a thorough security inspection by the Israeli land crossings authority.
The opening of the crossing comes as part of international efforts to alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis in the sector, amid ongoing security and logistical challenges.
