Video: Settlers Attack Industrial Area East of Tulkarm, Setting Fire to Vehicles and Agricultural Facilities
SadaNews - Groups of settlers launched a wide-scale attack on industrial and agricultural facilities near the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm, this Tuesday evening, resulting in large fires and injuries to several citizens.
Local sources reported that the settlers set fire to several Palestinian vehicles within the industrial area known as "al-Ludain" surrounding Beit Lid, including two private vehicles and a truck belonging to the "Al-Juneidi" dairy factory, leading to their complete destruction.
The attack extended to include setting fire to agricultural land, tin rooms, and tents belonging to a Bedouin gathering consisting of between two to five families living in the area, while the settlers hurled stones at the citizens, causing significant material damage and injuring at least two citizens with head wounds.
The sources added that large forces from the occupation army stormed the area and provided protection for the settlers, initiating pursuit of the citizens who attempted to fend off the attack.
Civil defense and ambulance crews rushed to the scene to extinguish the fires and assist the injured, amidst continuing tension in the area.
This attack occurs in the context of increasing settler assaults in Tulkarm Governorate, which frequently take place under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
