Avichai Adraee.. The Face of the Occupation Army in the Arab World Retires After 20 Years

SadaNews - The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army in the Arab world, Avichai Adraee, is set to resign after 20 years, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

Adraee's activity during the war focused on disseminating maps and warnings before Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

According to Israeli estimates, Adraee was part of the media strategy adopted by the army after October 7, 2023.

Adraee also occasionally directed messages to the people of Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, which Arab entities viewed as an attempt to demonstrate an Israeli media presence in the regional arena, while critics described him as merely a propaganda tool.

The Israeli army is seeking a replacement to handle media in the Arabic language, with reports indicating that there are three candidates undergoing tests, including performance tests in front of the camera.
