Katz Orders the Border Area with Egypt to be Converted into a Closed Military Zone
SadaNews - Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, stated that he has ordered the conversion of the area adjacent to the border with Egypt into a closed military zone and to amend the rules of engagement.
Katz added: "I agreed with the head of the Shin Bet to define arms smuggling via drones at the border with Egypt as a terrorist threat.
He said, "Arms smuggling via drones is part of the war in Gaza and is aimed at arming our enemies; all means must be taken to stop it."
