Haaretz: Israeli Army Monitors Hezbollah Movements to Rebuild Its Strength
SadaNews - The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" revealed that the Israeli army is closely monitoring increasing attempts by Hezbollah to rebuild its ranks, especially in areas north of the Litani River, away from the direct borders with Israel.
The newspaper quoted military officials as saying that these movements could prompt Israel to expand its military activities in the region, amid warnings from the intelligence branch that Hezbollah seeks to restore its military capabilities and organizational status, although some estimates suggest that these movements may be for internal purposes.
The Israeli occupation army confirmed that it will deal with any threat from its inception, regardless of the motivations of the other party, stressing that Hezbollah's rehabilitation will not go unanswered.
In this context, the report noted that the Lebanese army is avoiding direct confrontation with Hezbollah elements and is not making significant efforts to prevent the party from rebuilding its capabilities.
